To run j2chess, you need:

j2chess (!)
a JRE (version 1.4.2 or more required)

If you're not sure if you have a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed on your machine or you want to update your current JRE to the latest version available, click on the "Java Get it now!" icon below.

Linux or other platforms	j2chess.jar
